In Tijuana (TJ), I have rediscovered my roots and grown a brand new heart for my little corner of this complex city. 

 

Last May, I joined Grace of Calvary Ministries and my friend Cindy Pesina in the east part of Tijuana. Currently I am directing two after-school tutoring programs and my husband Javier and I are helping with the youth group. 

 

With my stories, I want to share with you the beauty and joy and yes even the struggles of my community that is every day claiming new parts of my heart, soul and mind. Here I am being taught new things about who God is and how wide, how high, and how deep His love is. 

 

I am in stunned awe that He is shining through all the random, misshapen, broken, even shattered pieces of my life. He is so merciful. I hope my stories will help you find that loving-kindness too.

 

I would love for you to join me on a day trip so you can meet the team and the people we are so privileged to serve.  I might know a good taco spot, too.
